Project description
BENDSCAPE is a full-scale pavilion developed through a two-semester study of CNC machining, kerf bending, and robotic fabrication at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. The project translates material experiments with 15 mm plywood into a system of digitally simulated and fabricated bent elements. Using Grasshopper-based tools, the team integrated design, machining, and assembly into a continuous workflow, resulting in a pavilion of 60 elements across 29 unique typologies.
